If I think about a job I would like to have in the future, it would be related to nature, the environment, or the use of Geographic Information System. So, I imagine it doing it in some company or being a self-employed in the south of Chile. Well, I think it’s obviously that I would like to work outdoors, I wouldn’t want to work in the same place always. I think it’s very entertaining to do field visits, collect information and learn new things. I would really like to travel in my future job, I love the nature and knowing new places, and sometimes, I think it’s for this reason that I choose Geography to study, because you must move it a lot. Well, about the salary… Nothing it’s perfect I think, I hope that my future job allows me to complain my projects, live well and of course travel. I think this career isn’t recognized, so it’s badly paid, but it isn’t an obstacle for me. Choose my current career was very difficult for me and a little bit stressful because I didn’t like any of the career options to study, and in school I didn’t like anything, but I had a great performance in all subjects, so it was a real challenge for me. I always loved nature, travel, natural phenomenon, etc., so I convinced myself choosing something related to it. So, searching all day and night, I found Geography and I loved the curriculum map because it has everything, and for someone who never knew what to study it’s perfect. Geography wasn’t my first option, in fact, I studied Architecture a few months before entering my current career. It’s too difficult for me to think about a movie because I prefer watching series more than movies, but I have one that I love. The name of the movie is Shawshank Redemption, is a 1994 drama film with some actors like Tim Robbins (as Andy Dufresne), Morgan Freeman (as Ellis Boyd), and many others, but they are the main character, that in the film are two incarcerated who unite during the time in prison, forming a good friendship. I like this movie so much because the first time that I watched, the feeling was so tense, keeps you alert for the 142 minutes of movie length, waiting for what will happen. The storyline is too good to me, the hope predominates in the film, as well as the power of friendship, and on the other hand, the different experiences of the others incarcerated it’s so dramatic and sometimes sad. The best holidays i’ ve had was on March 14th, 2022, before entering to a new semester at university. I traveled to Coñaripe, which is a small town located in the south of Chile, in the Los Ríos region. In this amazing trip, I went only with my boyfriend, where we stayed just five days in the town. We hang out all the time as well as possible, because we wanted to explore all the beautiful places of Coñaripe. We went to amazing waterfall named Mili Mili and to a lookout with the same name, personally, it was the best day of the whole trip, because the view it was indescribable, but we walked too much. Also, we visited others places like the Geometric Hot Spring at night, we went to two lakes as the Calafquen Lake and Pellaifa Lake. This is my favorite trip, because in a short period of time, we went to beautiful places, we meet nice persons during the trip, because we moved to different sites just walking or backpacking.
