Coñaripe

The best holidays i’ ve had was on March 14th, 2022, before entering to a new semester at university. I traveled to Coñaripe, which is a small town located in the south of Chile, in the Los Ríos region.

In this amazing trip, I went only with my boyfriend, where we stayed just five days in the town. We hang out all the time as well as possible, because we wanted to explore all the beautiful places of Coñaripe.

We went to amazing waterfall named Mili Mili and to a lookout with the same name, personally, it was the best day of the whole trip, because the view it was indescribable, but we walked too much.

Also, we visited others places like the Geometric Hot Spring at night, we went to two lakes as the Calafquen Lake and Pellaifa Lake.

This is my favorite trip, because in a short period of time, we went to beautiful places, we meet nice persons during the trip, because we moved to different sites just walking or backpacking. Also, we ate the typical food of the zone as the cazuela, kuchen, etc., the food was so tasty. I hope someday come back to Coñaripe again.

Choosing my favorite photo was very difficult, I think I forgot too many photos, because I have many, but I think this is the best. Summer holidays

 There is very little time left for the summer holidays, and honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do during the 2 months of vacations. According to possible trips, I’ve seen some ideas such as going to the south of Chile, such as going to the commune of Cochamó, Futrono or Chiloé, because I really like the south, and I’ve seen spectacular images of those places. On the other hand, I would like to visit San Pedro de Atacama, because I’ve never been to the north of Chile, besides, we all know how famous that place is, and I would like to do something different. This summer, I’m going to be with my family of course, my boyfriend and I hope that I can be with my friends that I haven’t seen since a long time. Change is good

Sometimes I’m grateful of studying Geography, I think is more relaxed than the career of Design or Architecture, but also, I think that it’s so difficult sometimes do other things outside of university, we always have to be doing something like works, homework, etc. In the same line, I think the subjects in this career are very entertaining and useful for our futures, but sometimes you never have time, so I don’t like that, and so I would change the time you have to dedicate to each subject. In general terms, the faculty infrastructure is so poor, we don’t have minimal things like nurse’s office, spaces to eat, hiding from the rain, some comfortable spaces to rest, etc. So, in my opinion, this faculty is very bad according to the facilities that they offer you. Also, in Geography, we need a lot of field visits, but we don’t have enough, and there aren’t resources for that.
