Shawshank Redemption

It’s too difficult for me to think about a movie because I prefer watching series more than movies, but I have one that I love.

The name of the movie is Shawshank Redemption, is a 1994 drama film with some actors like Tim Robbins (as Andy Dufresne), Morgan Freeman (as Ellis Boyd), and many others, but they are the main character, that in the film are two incarcerated who unite during the time in prison, forming a good friendship.

I like this movie so much because the first time that I watched, the feeling was so tense, keeps you alert for the 142 minutes of movie length, waiting for what will happen. The storyline is too good to me, the hope predominates in the film, as well as the power of friendship, and on the other hand, the different experiences of the others incarcerated it’s so dramatic and sometimes sad. So, you have too many feelings during the movie, and I like that.

I think it’s a film that you can learn a lot from it, I thought that being a movie that is about prison, it would be very violent, but it’s not. I recommend completely this movie for the incredible script, amazing direction, and the wonderful performance by the cast.

    morgan freeman is such a good actor, is basically the best argument for watching it. i like the topic and the setting, i'll see it. thank gaby rocks for the recommendation.

Summer holidays

 There is very little time left for the summer holidays, and honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do during the 2 months of vacations. According to possible trips, I’ve seen some ideas such as going to the south of Chile, such as going to the commune of Cochamó, Futrono or Chiloé, because I really like the south, and I’ve seen spectacular images of those places. Change is good

Sometimes I’m grateful of studying Geography, I think is more relaxed than the career of Design or Architecture, but also, I think that it’s so difficult sometimes do other things outside of university, we always have to be doing something like works, homework, etc. In the same line, I think the subjects in this career are very entertaining and useful for our futures, but sometimes you never have time, so I don’t like that, and so I would change the time you have to dedicate to each subject. In general terms, the faculty infrastructure is so poor, we don’t have minimal things like nurse’s office, spaces to eat, hiding from the rain, some comfortable spaces to rest, etc. So, in my opinion, this faculty is very bad according to the facilities that they offer you. Also, in Geography, we need a lot of field visits, but we don’t have enough, and there aren’t resources for that.
